NET Manager

For users looking for information about NET Manager, active development of the application has ceased. However it can still be downloaded from here.

A change made in Windows XP Service Pack 3 prevents NET Manager from starting properly. In order to get the application running under Windows XP SP3, download the nminit.exe.manifest file and copy it into the NET Manager installation directory, replacing the existing file. If it still fails to run then delete the config.mdb file from the installation directory and try again.

A few other things:

• Operation under Windows Vista or Windows 7 is unsupported, although I would ideally like to release an update to enable it to run under these OS versions at some point in the future.
• I am aware that the program is quite buggy. I actually fixed many of the outstanding issues a long time ago but never got around to compiling and releasing the updated EXE. Hopefully I will do that eventually.
