NET Manager v1.21 Update Instructions
Due to a bug in the update system in NET Manager v1.2, attempting to perform
an automatic update will generate a 'File not found' or a 'Path Not Found'
error. Therefore you need to update the software manually. The following
instructions step you through the process of manually updating NET Manager to
the latest version. If you are using version v1.1, then you can update
automatically as this version is not affected, however you must still perform
step 6.
- Download the latest version of NET Manager from
here.
- Run the exe file that you downloaded in step 1. It will give you the
option of repairing or removing the installation. Select
'Remove NET Manager' and click 'Next'.
- When the program has finished uninstalling, exit the installer. Now run
the file you downloaded in step 1 again.
- This time you will get the normal install options. Ensure that you
install NET Manager into the same directory that you installed it into
previously (the default is C:\Program Files\NET Manager).
- When the installation program has completed, run NET Manager by
selecting it from the Start Menu.
- To correct the issue of the Observe function not working properly, press
F10 at the main screen. This will display the NET Manager debugging window.
In the Commands text field, type 'patchobsclienttable' (without the
quotes) and press Enter. This will patch the database. Now close NET Manager
to apply the changes.
