NET Manager-Windows Vista Compatibility

At the present time, NET Manager is NOT compatible with Windows Vista.

An update to NET Manager (v1.22) will be released shortly to allow NET Manager to run properly under Windows Vista (and to address other issues).

If you really want to run the program NOW, you can install the current version of NET Manager (v1.21) by disabling Windows Vista's UAC feature, installing the program and running it once, and re-enabling the UAC feature. Note that this configuration is UNSUPPORTED and certain features of NET Manager will cause it to crash.

The compatibility issues with UAC are due to the fact that NET Manager is based on some old programming technology which requires a bit of coaxing to get it to run properly. The codebase is in desperate need of a major refit, but I am unlikely to find the time, bearing in mind the program took 3 years to write in the first place. So I'm sticking to updating the existing codebase as required.
